So.. what is the Fusion Party?
In short, we are the party of Unity, Science and Accountability, and we intend to bring out the best of America by bringing out the best in Americans.
Guided by principles of T.R.U.S.T., we have put forth a series of bold policy proposals aimed at fulfilling our nation’s promise by renewing the American S.P.I.R.I.T.
Remembering that ideas should be big, lies make us small, and that we are an unstoppable force when we put grievance aside and our minds together, the Fusion Party of the United States of America is hereby established as the new home of the real American rogue.

..to establish unshakeable credibility
A steadfast, unequivocal devotion to seeking and speaking the truth is the single most distinguishing characteristic of our movement. Members commit to never intentionally mislead others, and more, to never grant any quarter to untruth. Honesty is, was, and always will be the best policy.

..to cultivate a culture of accountability
Trust cannot exist without accountability. Unfortunately, our broken electoral system has made it more politically profitable to point a finger than to fix a problem. With short-sighted leaders more concerned about upsetting their partisan base than actually making progress, we must take our future into our own hands. That starts with holding ourselves to the highest standards. No spin. No Excuses. Only then will we get the government we deserve.

Unification is both the primary purpose of the Fusion Party, and the driving force used to achieve its goals. Fusion represents the immense positive energy that emerges when two or more separate entities are united into one; an apt metaphor for the potential of a united United States.

..to achieve true understanding
We pledge to take a scientfic approach to all questions of importance. We fight the tempation to jump to convenient conclusions, hide behind ambivalence or lash out defensively when challenged on an opinion. Rather than simply shrugging off hyperbole, we insist on accuracy. Therefore we promise to evaluate all assumptions, including our own, with a scientific mindset that yields impartial results.

The can-do American Spirit is a unique trait to a nation that has long prided itself on finding inventive solutions to difficult challenges. We intend to reverse the weak-willed cynicism that now permeats through much of our national discourse by reinvigorating our national spirit with a refreshingly realistic brand of tough-minded optimism.
